NATHAN Jones watched on from the stands at St Mary’s tonight, with the Luton boss reportedly having agreed to be the next Saints manager.

The Hatters boss on Tuesday night confirmed he would be talking to the Saints hierarchy today about taking the position.

He was then pictured watching on as Saints overcame Sheffield Wednesday 6-5 on penalties in the Carabao Cup third round following a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes.

Our photographer Stuart Martin was on hand to capture the 49-year-old’s arrival to the south coast club this afternoon.
