76ers' Danny Green ruled out of Game 3 vs. Hawks early with calf strain

Philadelphia 76ers forward Danny Green left their Game 3 matchup with the Atlanta Hawks early on Friday night and was ruled out with a right calf strain, the team announced.

Green appeared to injure his leg just minutes into the contest, and he made his way over to the bench and sat on the ground. He then hobbled off the court and made his way back to the locker room.

He ended up with just one rebound and a foul in his four minutes on Friday at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Green, 33, averaged 9.5 points and 1.7 assists per game with the 76ers this season, his first with the franchise, and has averaged eight points and three assists so far in the postseason.
