World Cup FIFA Fantasy Football gets back underway today with the start of the quarter-finals.

Matchday 5 is open on the official FIFA game with five free transfers handy plus the new capability to have five players from each nation. The action begins with Brazil facing Croatia at 3pm GMT today.

Here are our transfer tips...

Vinicius Jr - Brazil - $10.5m

Not a mammoth scorer so far with three assists and a single goal, Vinicius is at least guaranteed a starting spot for Brazil when fit and two far-from impenetrable defences lie in wait if they are to reach the final.

Bruno Fernandes - Portugal - $9.5m

There are two different approaches to fantasy football at this sort of tournament: spread your bets or go all-in. With more transfers becoming available as each round finishes, I personally prefer the latter approach, as shall become evident with these tips. First up is the main man for Portugal, Fernandes has made them tick with three assists and two goals - plus, now he should be on penalties.

Goncalo Ramos - Portugal - $6.5m

Hop merrily onto the Ramos bandwagon ahead of Portugal’s clash with Morocco even if the Selecao are up against a very wily defence. The only issue is he’s down as a forward, with only three allowed from a very stacked selection of players.

Julian Alvarez - Argentina - $6.5m

Another good, cheap option that can be reasonably relied upon to start and frees up cash for elsewhere if you need it. Scored in each of his last two games.

Lucas Paqueta - Brazil - $7m

Exactly the sort of player you can start filling out your team with now more players from each nation are allowed. Dependable, cheap and on course to reach the final.
