Liam Neeson might have a very particular set of skills, but it doesn't look like he's going to be using them for much longer.

Yes, the Taken star and action legend has admitted that he might be getting a little too old to be doing that kind of thing.

Appearing at the Toronto International Film Festival, Liam revealed that although studio bosses are still desperate for him to delve into his specific skill-set, he's had enough.

"They're still throwing serious money at me to do that stuff," he said (via The Independent).

"I'm like, 'Guys, I'm sixty-f**king-five'. Audiences are eventually going to go, 'Come on'."

We don't know about you, but we reckon Liam could successfully pull off action stunts well into his 80s.

While we're sad to hear that Liam may be retiring from all that gun-toting and phone-threatening, at least we can take comfort in the Taken TV spin-off. Kind of.

After less than stellar reviews for its first season, the Taken series will be showcasing a brand new look for its second outing.

Only two of its series regulars will be returning for season two (Clive Standen and Jennifer Beals), and its run will be reduced from 16 episodes to 10.

Not convinced? At least there's a female-led Taken-alike on its way, too.
