Blake Lively shares candid pregnancy photos to beat paparazzi at their own game
In case you missed it, Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds are expecting their fourth child. The 35-year-old actress broke the news with an appearance at a Forbes Power Women Summit event, turning up to the red carpet in a gold Valentino mini dress while cradling her baby bump.
She later joked about her love for creation across all facets of her life, whether it's being a mother, a businesswoman or an actress. 'I just like to create,' Blake said. 'Whether that's baking or storytelling or businesses or humans, I just really like creating.'
Blake is already the mother to three girls: 7-year-old James, 5-year-old Inez and 2-year-old Betty. According to a source speaking to US Weekly, she and Ryan have their sights set on a boy for baby number four: 'They are hoping for a boy this time around but, of course, they just want a healthy baby, no matter the gender.;
The source added that the couple 'love being parents' and noted that; 'The timing is perfect because all of their kids are two years apart so they’re keeping with the pattern.'
However, despite the happiness surrounding this news, Blake has sadly had to contend with some unwanted attention after announcing her pregnancy. Specifically, the actress took to Instagram to call out the '11 guys waiting outside my home' in reference to paparazzi photographers hoping to catch a glimpse of her pregnancy body.
Addressing the photographers she has been encountering, she added; 'You freak me and my kids out.'
The important caption accompanied a carousel of images showing Blake throughout her pregnancy, posing with her husband and friends like Taylor Swift as well as relaxing in her home. In her caption she mentions her hope that, by sharing these images, the paparazzi will; 'leave me alone.'
She then went on to thank individuals who have been more respectful of her announcement, writing; 'Thanks to everyone else for all the love and respect and for continuing to unfollow accounts and publications who share photos of children. You have all the power against them.'
