Meanwhile, Kardashian, 41, shared a clip of Shields on the set of the campaign to her own Insta story.

As she models one of the new SKIMS bras, Shields says, "What inspires me and what impresses me the most about the female body is it's just... sheer strength.

"It seems like there's primal cellular memory in the female body. It's capable of so much.

"Confidence to me is sexy," she adds. "I think from confidence comes a sexiness."

Then, talking about the weightless scoop bra she's wearing, Shields enthuses, "It's really, really sort of smooth, but also kind of pushes the girls up and and in a little bit which I like. It doesn't dig in anywhere and the straps lay so flat."

Kardashian also shared one of the snaps of Shields as an Instagram post, alongside other stars involved in the campaign.

They include Juliette Lewis, 49, Chelsea Handler, 47, Indya Moore, 27, and stars known as Cassie, 36, and Becky G, 25.

Kardashian's caption reads in part, "SKIMS Bras – a complete system of shaping solutions for every need," before thanking those involved, and also announcing the launch time and date.

In a clip of actor and singer Lewis wearing and moving in the naked plunge bra on Kardashian's Instagram stories, she says, "I used to want my name to be Tammy and I wanted big boobs and hips.

"So how have I changed? I love being small breasted and almost boyish at times, and I like muscle."

Wearing the weightless scoop bra, fellow star comedian Handler says, "I feel the most comfortable when I'm skiing topless, because that's my favourite activity and I feel comfortable being nude.

"I definitely feel like more women should be topless more often because there are too many men that are topless and they shouldn't be."

"If you're allowed to show your gross bodies, then we should be allowed to show our beautiful bodies," she adds.

On what she would tell her younger self about her breasts, Handler advises, "To embrace them!

"For a long time I was very embarrassed of how big my breasts were. I would duct tape them down before I went to school, and it took me until I was about 40 to understand that my boobs are awesome."

Kardashian also posted a series of images of herself in a variety of black SKIMS bras. She launched the brand in 2019, also dropping its first ever swimwear collection in March.
