Celebrity beefs are nothing new, but we were not expecting Chaka Khan to say "f*** her" about Ariana Grande.

In a new interview, the 67-year-old queen of disco was asked about whether she'd be keen to collaborate with Ariana, 27, again. The response was a clear no.

The pair worked together in 2019 on a remix of Chaka's song 'Ain't Nobody', titled 'Nobody', for the Charlie's Angels soundtrack. And judging by Chaka's latest chat with VLADtv, things between the pair weren't left in a particularly good way.

"F*** her," Khan said of Ariana, before softening, "She's alright."

Explaining why she didn't want to collaborate, Chaka - real name Yvette Marie Stevens - continued, "She’s good on her own. She doesn’t need... plus, I don’t wanna sing with another woman. I ain’t got nothing to say, OK, with a woman.

"You say it by yourself. We ain’t gonna talk about no man. We not gonna do none of that stuff. It’s not happening. I’m not gonna do no song with no heifer."

Blimey. While we totally understand she might not be up for collaborating, this is JUICY.

As for Ariana, the singer teased fans with news of her new album this week, revealing plans to drop it before the end of the month. "I can't wait to give u my album this month," she wrote on Twitter, much to fans' delight.

It might not be a collab, but we'd take new Chaka / Ariana music any day.
