Calvin Harris has shared a glimpse of his brand new material set to feature on his upcoming album – his first in five years. The DJ and singer posted a short snippet of a new track on his social media, teasing fans of what's to come on the follow-up to 2017's Funk Wav Bounces Vol 1. The new song will drop at the end of this week and while there's no official release date for Vol 2, we already know it's going to be the sound of the summer.

Kanye West has made his return to social media after being removed from Instagram. Ye, who was banned from the platform in March after claims from Meta stated his posts were violating policies on hate speech, shared what appears to be an upcoming collaboration with McDonalds. The Yeezy star is yet to reveal further details on what the project involves, but has teamed up with industrial designer brand Muji to repackage the global fast food chain's iconic products.

Calvin Harris is dropping new music on Friday

Mary J Blige, Adele and many more big names from the world of entertainment have been declared as Time Magazine's most influential people of 2022. The annual list sees the Easy on Me singer and Mary J Blige both featured as legends of their career. James Corden described Adele as "raw, honest and elegant," while Nas branded MJB as a pioneer in the industry for being a hip-hop star who could sing. Other big names such as Pete Davidson, Zendaya and Zoe Kravitz have also been named and will be celebrated at the annual gala in June.

It's all over for Liam Payne and his fiancé Maya Henry. The former One Direction star found himself in hot water when pictures began emerging online of him seemingly cosying up to another woman. Maya, who has been linked to the singer since 2018 and announced their engagement in 2020, commented on the posts, pleaded fans to stop sending her the images, adding it was difficult enough seeing them for herself. Liam is yet to comment publicly on the split but is now thought to be dating model and influencer Aliana Mawla.
