It's a good day for Dynasty fans in the UK, who will be able to watch the reboot within 24 hours of its US premiere.

Just as long as they have a Netflix account, or at least the password to one.

According to Deadline, Netflix has acquired global rights to The CW's forthcoming Dynasty reboot for all international territories outside of the US.

Netflix reportedly expressed early interest in the CBS TV Studios series, which comes back to screens this October, courtesy of Gossip Girl and The OC's Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz.

Savage and Schwartz's update of Dynasty takes what you loved about the original - a feud between the wealthy Carringtons and the Colbys - and gives it some much-needed diversity.

When Cristal (The Vampire Diaries' Nathalie Kelley) marries into the Carrington family, she faces fire on all sides when much-older husband Blake's (Melrose Place's Grant Show) jealous daughter Fallon Carrington (Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll's Elizabeth Gillies) declares war.

Fallon, Cristal and Blake Carrington are all characters from the original series – played by Pamela Sue Martin, Linda Evans and John Forsythe respectively.

Sadly, there's no sign of Dame Joan Collins' drink-throwing, insult-hurtling diva Alexis Carrington yet, but we're keeping our fingers crossed...
