Grey's Anatomy Just Recast A Major Character
Grey's Anatomy has just recast a major role. The season 13 finale revealed that Owen's sister Megan, presumed dead following a helicopter accident, is in fact alive, but she'll return looking a little different than you remember.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, actress Bridget Regan is unavailable to return to the role for scheduling reasons, and so Abigail Spencer – known for shows including Timeless, Suits and Rectify – has been cast in her place. She'll appear in several episodes of the show's upcoming fourteenth season.
Megan's return can only mean there's a big love triangle brewing – before her apparent death, she was romantically involved with Nathan, who's now in a newly-official relationship with Meredith. DRAMA.
Grey's returns for season 14 on Thursday, September 28.
