The mid-century utopian drama is bound to be full of nail-biting suspense, and we're here for it.

Here's everything you need to know about Don't Worry Darling:

What's the plot of Don't Worry Darling?

The story revolves around a married couple in the 1950s. Alice (Pugh) is a 1950s housewife living with her husband Jack (Styles), who is employed by a mysterious operation called Victory Project, which is expected to change the world.

While women are told to stay indoors, Alice becomes suspicious as she starts to witness violent acts committed by her spouse, and contemplates the disturbing secrets her husband's company might be keeping.

Styles' character is part of the puzzling operation, along with Wonder Woman 1984's Chris Pine and The Hustle's Timothy Simons, who are not keen on disclosing their actual activities at work to their wives.

As Pugh's character starts to probe, her marriage and life becomes more dangerous.

While on stage at a CinemaCon event in Las Vegas on Tuesday to discuss the thriller, director Olivia Wilde said, as per The Times, that the film is comparable to 'Inception, The Matrix, Truman Show. It’s my love letter to the movies that pushed boundaries of ambition'.

She later asked the audience: 'Imagine a life where you could have anything you ever wanted, not just the tangible things … but also the things that really matter — true love with the perfect partner, real trusted friendships.

'What would it take for you to give up that perfect life? What are you willing to sacrifice to do what’s right?

'Are you willing to dismantle the system that is designed to serve you?'

Harry Styles and Florence Pugh star as married couple Alice and Jack, plus Humans actor Gemma Chan makes an appearance. Styles' real-life girlfriend Olivia Wilde directed the thriller, but she features in it too, as a character called Mary.

After Kemp asked Styles if he's able to 'safely' watch, he replied saying he doesn't know if you can watch it with your parents.

The singer also addressed a question about how he and Pugh simulated sex during the more romantic scenes, after Kemp heard rumours that a deflated netball is involved.

Styles explained: 'I personally had no experience with a netball, I think it depends very much on who you're working with and what the situation is, all I can say from my own experience is that I was very lucky to have a very trusting relationship within the people we were working with and that kind of came first...

'So it was all discussed and all of it was very, kind of, "Ok above the filming, above anything that is happening, it's the cameras, it's me and you, we're doing his together, and we trust each other and if at any point, you know..."

'We can stop whenever and all that kind of stuff. I'd never done that before on camera at least I don't think! '
