First look at Florence Pugh in latest film A Good Person
Sky Cinema has revealed a first look image of Florence Pugh in the upcoming film A Good Person.
Confirming the movie will be released via the platform next year, Sky Cinema revealed the news via Twitter account today (December 14) alongside an image of the actress in character.
Pugh stars alongside Morgan Freeman as Allison, a woman who develops an unlikely relationship with her would be father-in-law in years after she was involved in a fatal car accident. Celeste O'Connor, Molly Shannon, Toby Onwumere and Zoe Lister-Jones also feature.
The film also has a familiar face behind the camera too, as it was written and directed by Pugh's former boyfriend, Scrubs star Zach Braff.
Pugh announced the couple's decision to split earlier this year after keeping the news private for a few months.
"We've been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it's been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on," she told Harper's Bazaar. "We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we're not together."
Braff previously praised her performance in the upcoming film, telling Collider: "I know that anything Florence does is incredible. People say she's maybe the best actress of her generation.
"I think she's one of the best actresses working. This performance she gives is unbelievable."
Pugh can currently be seen in Netflix's The Wonder. Set in 1862 in the Irish midlands, the film tells the story of a girl who has somehow survived without food for months. Pugh plays a nurse sent to the village to observe the child.
A Good Person will premiere on Sky Cinema in 2023.
