H.E.R. launching loungewear collection

H.E.R. is about to drop a collection of loungewear.

The R&B star, real name Gabriella Wilson, has teamed up with designers at Amazon's The Drop to create the line, which is inspired by her heritage.

"There are two places that really made me who I am - my hometown of Vallejo, California, and Brooklyn, New York where I've spent a lot of time. I'm also half Filipino, and I wanted to include something that represented my culture," she shared. "These places all really contributed to my growth as an artist and as a woman, and it was important for me to represent all of them in my collection."

H.E.R.'s range reflects her own personal style and includes oversized T-shirts, sweats, hoodies, and co-ords.

"I've always been a sweatsuit girl," the 24-year-old said in an interview for WWD. "I remember there was a time when I was afraid to wear chill sweatsuits on stage and I kind of just dared to be different and went against the grain of what it means to be glam all the time. Sweatsuits kind of became my thing and I thought it was only right for me to do (a loungewear collection) now that it's becoming more popular."

Her collection will be available to buy for 30 hours starting on 29 March.
