Call me a Disney adult but I, for one, cannot wait for next year because not only do we have the Snow White remake and The Haunted Mansion film to look forward to, but we also have the much-anticipated live action remake of The Little Mermaid.

Of course we all know by now that multi-talented singer/actress Halle Bailey has been cast to play the role of Ariel and maybe it's because I'm older now, but I'm more excited to see Javier Bardem take up the ultimate Zaddy role as King Triton then I am to see Jonah Hauer-King bring Eric to life.

Not only does Halle have the vocal talents to pay justice to Part Of Your World and the acting skills to pretend a lobster controls her life, but she also has a face cuter than any Disney Princess we've ever seen before.

Honestly, a scroll through her Instagram confirms that Halle is as beautiful as she is talented, so when she posted a selfie complete with new hairstyle, I just knew I had to share it with someone.

Halle is known for her signature, often shorter locs, but as her "rapunzel rapunzel, let down your hairrr" caption confirms, she's decided to switch things up a bit.

The locs are still there, but the ends are curled and tumbling down her back. If this isn't what a modern-day Disney Princess looks like then you can sign my life away to Ursula.

Here's to seeing more of Halle as she takes over Hollywood and Atlantica.
