Disney+ is already looking at next Halloween with a spooky sneak peek at Hocus Pocus 2.

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are all back in the land of the living as those sinister Sanderson sisters in a very brief clip from a teaser for the streaming service.

There's not too much we can figure out from the Hocus Pocus 2 snippet, other than that the Sanderson sisters will be celebrating the Halloween spirit at a carnival at one point in the movie.

Winnifred definitely seems to be enjoying herself the most, no doubt quite pleased with whatever spells she's cooked up for the village of Salem this time.

Here's how Disney+ has described the movie: "Three young women accidentally bring the Sanderson Sisters back to modern-day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on the world."

Those three young women up against the Sanderson sisters will be played by Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lilia Buckingham (Zoe Valentine) and Belissa Escobedo (American Horror Stories).

The movie will also feature former Veep co-stars Sam Richardson and Tony Hale, Teen Wolf's Froy Gutierrez and Ted Lasso's Hannah Waddingham.

If the Sanderson sisters are haunting the streets of Salem once again, that can only mean Winnifred's vengeful ex-boyfriend Billy Butcherson will be around too – and, sure enough, Doug Jones is reprising his role as the undead hero from the original.

The Proposal's director Anne Fletcher will make this long-awaited sequel from a script by writer-actress Jen D'Angelo, with Fletcher having taking over the directing chair from Kenny Ortega this time.

Hocus Pocus 2 will be releasing on Disney+ globally in time for Halloween in 2022.
