Inside Kacey Musgraves' spectacular Nashville home - take a tour

Kacey Musgraves has opened the doors to her incredible Nashville, Tennessee home and to say it is stunning would be an understatement.

The Grammy Award-winning singer bought the property after her divorce from Ruston Kelly in 2020 and has completely transformed it into a serene abode.

In an interview with Architectural Digest, Kacey gave a tour of her 3,500-square-foot home which she overhauled from being heavily decorated in a bold, colorful, wallpaper to something much more tranquil.

"I wanted a place that felt like me," she said. "Where I could express myself without having to think about another person and what they might want. This felt like a new beginning."

The spacious property is sleek and elegant, boasting white and cream walls and minimalist furnishings.

"The interior of this home was my first time trying to embrace a minimalist mindset, and that is a challenge for me," she admitted. "I love collecting things that intrigue me, which doesn't always bode well for a minimalist environment."

Kacey has managed to create a calming retreat outside of her home too and the expansive swimming pool, surrounded by lush greenery is the perfect place to relax.

While she can't explain the exact design aesthetic of her home, she loves it, all the same, adding: "You can’t put your finger on the exact style of this house, and I'd say the same about my music.

"Instead, it's a big patchwork quilt of all these things that spark some kind of joy in me."

Kacey has also incorporated some pale pink walls in her home

Kacey appears to be coming to terms with the breakup of her marriage and as well as moving home, she penned numerous songs relating to her divorce.

In February 2021, she also spoke publicly about their split and admitted that it was "nothing more than two people who love each other so much, but for so many reasons, it just didn't work".
