Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock sport natural curls for Little Mix Christmas reunion
As much as I've been enjoying Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock's adorable baby content – plus, Jade Thirlwall's general winning of the internet – seeing the three Little Mix singers reunite off-duty has brought me so much joy.
And just like any dear old friends having a casual festive catch-up, the girls were in cosy jumpers, simple makeup and, to my delight, the most gorgeous curls on display. Though the pair of them often have their curls out, this un-styled and carefree moment really has them shininggggg. And do I spy a new curly cut on Jade?
While Jade most commonly wears her hair in a loose curl or wave — often wearing curlier tonged styles when glammed up — these new silky, full, bouncy curls look very natural to my keen eye, and somewhat shorter than recent pics she's shared. Just look at the texture in a recent previous post:
This change in texture is common with curly hair cuts as the removal of length, weight and older ends allows the natural curl pattern to spring up, an effect then enhanced with dry cut shaping by curly specialists, and the right products. BUT, if these shiny new curls are done with just a tong or a product? Then: take. my. money.
All three shared the beaming photo to their Instagram Stories in very on-brand ways. Perrie wrote a big heartfelt; "My girlssssss I love you so so so so so much 🎄❤️".
And Leigh-Anne sweetly added their festive song To The One I Been Missing to the post with the caption; "To the ones I been missing💔💔❤️❤️".
Oh and Jade? She wrote; "Might I suggest you don't f*ck with my sis".
