Jennifer Aniston to play LGBT female President

Jennifer Aniston just landed a new role, playing the first LGBT female president in a new film for Netflix.

The streaming giant has announced that Aniston will star as President of the United States Beverly Nicholson in their new political comedy film, First Ladies, which will also star comedian Tig Notaro as Aniston's wife and First Lady of the United States.

Notaro will also be co-writing the film with her real life wife Stephanie Allynne and is based on their own original pitch.

"When Beverly and Kasey Nicholson move into the White House, they’ll prove that behind every great woman... is another great woman," Netflix said in their press release.

Notaro, Allynne, and Aniston will produce the film alongside Will Ferrell. Details on who else will join the cast and when the film will be released are still to be confirmed.

Aniston will also star in an upcoming series for Apple about morning TV show hosts alongside Reese Witherspoon.
