And Just Like That season 2 - First look at Aidan and Carrie's reunion
And Just Like That season two has revealed a first look at the reunion between Carrie and Aidan.
Aidan Shaw (John Corbett) is a former flame of Carrie Bradshaw's (Sarah Jessica Parker) from Sex and the City, and fans last saw him in the 2010 movie Sex and the City 2, in which he was married.
He and Carrie — who was also married at the time — shared a kiss in the film, so their romantic connection was still there.
Sadly, Aidan didn't make an appearance on the first season of the Sex and the City sequel spin-off show.
But Corbett is confirmed to reprise his role as Aidan for the second season of And Just Like That, and the HBO Max show just released a tantalising first look at Aidan's reunion with Carrie.
The show's Instagram page posted a series of photos of the duo strutting the street hand-in-hand. "Shh. Don't tell anyone," the caption reads.
Fans will have to wait and see whether or not Carrie and Aidan's reunion will lead to a long-term thing.
That said, it has been confirmed that Corbett, who first popped up on season three of Sex and the City, will star in a multi-episode arc during And Just Like That season two. So, there's a chance his seemingly secret rendezvous with Carrie could blossom into something bigger.
And Just Like That is a sequel spin-off of the iconic Sex and the City, and follows Carrie, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they navigate life, love, and friendship.
And Just Like That, the sequel to Sex and the City, airs on HBO Max in the US and Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
