And Just Like That's Carrie and Aidan reunion teased to be more serious in new filming pictures
And Just Like That season 2 set photos have teased the reunion between Carrie and her ex Aidan.
Aidan (John Corbett) was one of Carrie's ones-who-got-away in the original Sex and The City TV series, and was last seen in the second film.
At the time both Carrie and Aidan were married, which obviously put a stopper in things. But it looks a lot like both are single and ready to mingle in this latest instalment... or maybe even get together again, finally.
In fresh new filming photos, we can see Carrie and Aidan out and about together. But not just any outing; a shopping trip. And not just any shopping trip; a homeware shopping trip.
Surrounded by pots and pans, with Aidan snapping a pair of silicone kitchen tongs, the two look a lot like they're playing house. Domestic bliss, anyone?
It was already known that Aidan would be back in the cast for And Just Like That season two, after some photos of Carrie and Aidan holding hands while walking in New York were posted on the show's Instagram account along with the caption: "Shh. Don't tell anyone.".
We also know that Corbett will appear as Aidan in multiple episodes of And Just Like That's second season rather than a guest appearance or cameo, paving the way for a longer story arc.
Season two will definitely have a lot of drama. The first series featured Big's death, Miranda's new romance with Che, and Carrie even dropping Samantha a message.
However, the cliffhanger ending of the show's first season saw Carrie ready to take on her own podcast, and kissing Franklyn... looks like Aidan coming along will shake things up.
And Just Like That, the sequel to Sex and the City, airs on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
