Kevin Bacon's son launches horror movie venture as famous dad weighs in

Kevin Bacon's son, Travis, has been gearing up to launch his long-awaited universe of mini horror movies - and the time has finally come.

The multi-talented musician toned down his gothic appearance for a video message which his famous dad shared on Instagram.

While his many tattoos were still visible, he'd removed some of his piercings and went makeup free.

In the clip, Travis revealed his Slashtag cinemas mini horrors which will appear on TikTok and Instagram are now being released.

He previously announced the date of when the first would drop when he wrote: "Extremely excited to share SLASHTAG CINEMA, an all new universe of horror shorts, written by, shot by, scored by, and starring me, @kylekouri, and @dylanxvx. First episode drops August 31st."

Both Kevin and his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, are incredibly supportive of both Travis, and his sister, Sosie.

Travis toned down his appearance to make the announcement about the launch of his new venture 

Travis Bacon is a musician in a heavy metal band, and normally dresses in an extreme manner.

In addition to being a singer and programmer for the band, Contracult Collective, he plays guitar for black metal band, Black Anvil. He's also an audio engineer and songwriter.

Kevin and Kyra have previously spoken about their children's desire to go into their chosen careers and said they did try to sway them from working in the spotlight.

Travis goes all out for his appearance on stage when performing with his band

The Footloose actor suffered a very public breakdown during a slump in his own career and he didn't want his children to suffer that.

Kevin told the Telegraph in 2013: "You're only as happy as your least happy child. We were only thinking about the struggle.

Kevin and Kyra are proud parents to their two children 

"And you want your children to live a life with as little struggle as possible. You never want bad things to happen. But of course, that's just not possible."

Kyra agrees and said in an interview: "Honestly, I really just want them to be happy. It is difficult being in this business, knowing how hard it is even when you're successful. The hurt, the rejection, the insecurity of thinking you're never going to work again... I don't want that for my kids."
