Laundry-modelling Taiwanese couple in their 80s are fashion goals
A couple in their 80s have become online fashion stars by modelling abandoned clothes. Chang Wan-ji, 83, and his wife Hsu Sho-er, 84, have been running a laundry service in Taiwan for 70 years, and have never thrown away left behind or abandoned clothing – and their grandson Reef Chang hit upon an idea of having his grandparents model these clothes to relieve their boredom.

The couple's fashion posts have become a sensation, and their Instagram account, WantShowAsYoung, has amassed over 600,000 followers from all over the world – some fans have even started to visit them in their small town near the city of Taichung. Let's face it, we can see why. They ooze sartorial cool and are surely in the running for an uber-stylish fashion ad campaign?

"They had nothing to do," Reef told the NYTimes. "I saw how bored they were and wanted to brighten up their lives." His grandparents say they "feel so young" modelling the clothes, and love receiving DMs from people all over the world. Their message to their fans, though? "Don't forget to pick up your laundry."
