Lili Reinhart doesn't expect to be invited back to the Met Gala after Kim K comment

Lili Reinhart isn't expecting an invite to the Met Gala again after her Kim Kardashian dig.

The Riverdale actress has walked the red carpet at the annual bash numerous times. But after Lili publicly criticised Kim for going on an extreme diet so she could fit into a dress once worn by Marilyn Monroe for the 2022 event, she isn't holding out much hope she'll be welcome back.

"That was fun," she recalled of attending the Met Gala to W magazine. "But after going again this year, I don't think I'll be invited back...I said a certain something about a certain person in a certain dress."

Despite Lili's mixed feelings about the Met Gala, she is pleased she voiced her opinion over Kim's look.

"I have always wanted to stand for something," the 26-year-old continued. "And while I don't like it if one comment by me turns into 17 articles in People magazine, I never overthink what I post. It has to be a true representation of how I feel. And I would say that whether I had 100 followers or 100 million."

Lili shared her disgust that Kim openly admitted to losing 16 pounds to fit into the dress on her Instagram Stories in May.

"To walk on a red carpet and do an interview where you say how starving you are... because you haven't eaten carbs in the last month...all to fit in a f**king dress?" she fumed. "So wrong. So f**ked on 100s of levels.

"To openly admit to starving yourself for the sake of the Met Gala. When you know very well that millions of young men and women are looking up to you and listening to your every word. The ignorance is other-worldly disgusting. Please stop supporting these stupid, harmful celebrities whose entire image revolves around their bodies."
