My Policeman, starring Harry Styles and The Crown's Emma Corrin has released a brand new look at the period movie.

The film will have its European premiere at London Film Festival in October, following the world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival this month.

In the new official picture, Styles and Corrin's characters, the titular policeman Tom Burgess and school teacher Marion, are glammed up to go to the theatre with museum curator Patrick (David Dawson).

My Policeman explores a forbidden love story against the social conventions of 1950s Britain, following three young people whose lives will be intertwined forever.

As the trailer gives away, the film focuses on the love triangle that sees Patrick and Tom in a secret relationship, with the latter ending up marrying Marion. The three protagonists are then reunited in the 1990s, with their adult versions played by Linus Roache (Tom), Gina McKee (Marion) and Rupert Everett (Patrick).

An adaptation of the 2012 book of the same name by Betham Roberts, the film is directed by Michael Grandage from a script penned by Ron Nyswaner.

Styles will next be seen opposite Florence Pugh in Olivia Wilde's sophomore directorial feature Don't Worry Darling. Releasing on September 23 following its Venice Film Festival premiere, the psychological thriller also stars Wilde, Wonder Woman's Chris Pine, Eternals' Gemma Chan, Nick Kroll and KiKi Layne.

My Policeman is released in cinemas on October 21 and will arrive on Prime Video on November 4.
