Maisie Smith is joining Strictly Come Dancing's summer tour.

Fresh off the news that the EastEnders star will be returning to the BBC One soap for a special appearance, she will also be stepping back out onto the ballroom floor in venues across the country this summer.

The actress and CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson will be headlining the all-new Strictly Presents: Keeep Dancing shows, set to run this June and July.

Each show will feature musical numbers performed by ex-Strictly contestant Max George, plus appearances from pros Nancy Xu, Jowita Przystał, Neil Jones and Gorka Marquez. The interactive show is designed to take fans behind the scenes of the TV series.

Fans of the BBC One dancing competition will no doubt remember that Maisie and Gorka finished joint second place on the series, so it should be a treat to see them together again.

"I'm very excited to continue my Strictly journey once more. Especially as this show will be very different from the arena tour," Maisie has said. "And to be giving audiences a unique glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes at the Strictly TV show is a real treat."
