"Within a month I was doing six grammes, bang, bang, bang, bang, on my own every f***ing day and not coming home until 3am in the morning, pretending I was working on my album.

"I wasn’t really writing I was making s*** music in the studio doing coke.

"It was straight back to that shame cycle, the shame of relapse, the same of letting everyone down, the shame of using uncontrollably trying to stop and not being able to."

Emma — mother to daughter Isabelle, 13, son Ace, 11, and seven-year-old daughter Trixie with Matt — admitted she failed to spot the signs on her husband's relapse.

She said: "I didn’t expect it. I think because he had been doing so well for such a long time.

"It was the last thing I thought."

Matt has said he was "conniving and manipulative" in hiding his addiction.
