Michelle Dockery led the glamour as the stars of Downton Abbey took to the red carpet for the New York premiere of A New Era.

Dockery, who plays Lady Mary Crawley, stunned in a sparkling, full-length, backless silver gown from French fashion house Givenchy.

She kept her bobbed hair poker-straight, opting for a smoky-eye make-up, and finishing her look with dark nail polish and statement rings.

Joining her on the red carpet for the much-awaited sequel to the 2019 Downton film were co-stars Joanne Froggatt, who plays Anna Bates, and Laura Carmichael who stars as Lady Edith Crawley.

Froggatt, 41, opted for a black, sequin bandeau and coordinating skirt by Michael Kors Collection, which gave a flash of her toned midriff.

She wore her blonde hair in beachy waves cascading to her shoulders, and kept her make-up natural and glowing.
