Oh the noughties... How we miss your unfortunately styled years! The low-slung, disc belts (that never held anything up), the cropped cardigans (that never kept you warm), the pedal pushers and of course, may we never forget, the Burberry everything.

Because back then, whatever Harvey from So Solid Crew and Tina Barrett from S Club 7 were wearing, we were wearing too.

In fact, the caps were so popular that demand saw markets and websites dealing in rip-offs, only to completely flood the general public with Burberry-that-weren't-really-Burberry accessories.

As The BBC wrote in 2005: "Their distinctive beige check, once associated with A-listers, has now become the uniform of a rather different social group: the so-called Chav".

As a result, the brand began to stop producing so many products with their distinctive check. The BBC wrote: "Three years ago (2001) it was on a fifth of all products. By 2004 it was on less that 5%".

And the caps? They were entirely removed from sale.

But now it seems enough time has passed and there's enough water under the bridge for Burberry to move on and reclaim their infamous baseball cap.

During their SS18 London Fashion Week show, Burberry silently told the world that the cap was back, along with a whole load of other coats, bags, skirts etc printed with their check.

But priced at £195 - will you be buying one?
