Neighbours announces seven more returnees for final ever episode

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Ramsay Street will welcome seven more returning faces in next week's finale.

Ever since the Australian soap's cancellation was made official, the cast announcements have come thick and fast, but with a 37-year archive to dig into, there's plenty room for more.

The Neighbours Twitter page revealed yesterday (July 23): "Surprise! You didn't think we were done did you?! We're thrilled to share that Margot Robbie, Jesse Spencer, Delta Goodrem, Kym Valentine and Carla Bonner will all make an appearance in our finale! #CelebratingNeighbours."

So, that's Donna Freedman, Billy Kennedy, Nina Tucker, Libby Kennedy and Stephanie Scully all back on the street, with one caveat from The Sun alleging Robbie (who's spent the last few months shooting the Barbie movie) appears in a specially recorded clip.

Meanwhile, the same publication reports Beth Brennan herself Natalie Imbruglia and Flick Scully's Holly Valance both contributed cameos all the way from London, too.

Back in February, Imbruglia (singer of the smash hit cover 'Torn') spoke about potentially rejoining the cast for a Neighbours farewell.

"I would consider going back, I think it would be lovely to walk through those doors. I mean, I probably won't recognise anyone – not even my [on screen] son," she said.

And she's not the only one to feel nostalgic about reprising her role as Mike Young's Guy Pearce found the whole experience "surreal" after 30 years away.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 and streams on My5. The series finale will air in the UK on July 29 at 9pm on Channel 5.
