A royal photographer has said he’s seen a ‘massive change’ in Prince Harry, since he married Meghan Markle in May.

The Sun’s Arthur Edwards, who has been following the royal family for over 44 years and has known Harry since he was a baby, has spoken about the difference in the Duke on episode 8 of Yahoo UK’s series The Royal Box.

Mr Edwards said: “He’s become more distant, he’s not the good old Harry anymore.

“He is certainly the Duke of Sussex now.”

Harry and Meghan show more affection in public than most royals and are often holding hands and giving each other subtle back rubs.

Interest in the couple hasn’t waned, since their wedding on May 19, which an estimated 1.9 billion people around the world watched.

Mr Edwards added that Harry is “very, very protective of Meghan.”

The Duke took the unusual step of releasing a statement, asking for privacy, when news of their relationship broke in 2016, saying that a line had been crossed by the press.

Mr Edwards said: “I think Harry would have told her the downside of being in the royal family and there is a lot of downsides.

“I mean, Diana couldn’t crack it, and nor could the Duchess of York Fergie, they found it tough and it is tough.”
