Priyanka Chopra shares sweet pictures of baby daughter on her first trip to NYC
Priyanka Chopra has taken her baby daughter Malti Marie on her first trip to New York and shared the adorable images of their mother-daughter trip on Instagram.
The 40-year-old actor became a mother for the first time when she welcomed Malti with musician husband Nick Jonas via a surrogate earlier this year.
Priyanka posted pictures of herself perched on a windowsill whilst holding her eight-month-old on her lap as they took in the view of Manhattan. She added the caption: "Our first trip to the big apple."
Malti looked sweet in a giraffe print dress while Priyanka was typically stylish in a floral printed shirt dress.
Friends and fans were loving the heartwarming pictures, with one commenting: "So happy for you guys. What an Incredible journey."
Another added: "Beautiful pictures."
Priyanka is in New York as part of her role as Unicef Goodwill Ambassador, speaking at the ongoing United Nations General Assembly. She took part in two sessions at the Assembly, one on the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and the other on Transforming Education Summit, according to the National News.
Priyanka and Nick married in 2018 after sparking romance rumours when they posed for photos together on the red carpet at the Met Gala in 2017.
The couple revealed in May that they were finally able to take Malti Marie home after she had spent over 100 days in the newborn intensive care unit.
Nick shared on Instagram: "After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family's journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is.
"We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every Doctor, nurse and specialist at Rady Children's La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let's get it, M! Mommy and Daddy love you."
Priyanka has also just finished filming science fiction series Citadel co-starring Stanley Tucci and Bodyguard's Richard Madden.
