Saved By The Bell fans, get excited because original star of the '90s kids' show, Elizabeth Berkley, has just shared a fun new snap of herself and the rest of the gang in costume, as the much-anticipated reboot prepares to air on US TV.

Berkley, who played Jessie Spano, will be reprising her role in the new series, alongside fellow Bayside High alumni Mario Lopez (AC Slater), Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), and Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski).

In the new photo, shared on Berkley's Instagram account on Thursday (5 November), we see the four actors dressed up in full-on '90s outfits and holding musical instruments, ahead of the show airing on US TV channel NBC's streaming service, Peacock.

"Just to bring you a little JOY in the midst of this crazy moment🤪 ..." Berkley wrote in the accompanying caption. "When we said 'friends forever', we meant it!!

"I secretly finally got to do this number and fulfill my own childhood dream. Hope you all are... excited too! ❤️"

The new series will see all four originals return to Bayside, as a brand new generation of students walks the halls.

Saved By The Bell originally ran from 1989 to 1993, and was followed up by Saved By The Bell: The College Years from 1993 to 1994, which saw the gang move on to university. That series concluded with a movie, Saved By The Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas, in 1994, where Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski tied the knot.

The reboot launches in the US on 25 November, but we've yet to find out when it will be available in the UK, so watch this space.

We can't wait!
