PSA: Sex/Life's Brad and Billie are an actual couple irl
Netflix's raunchy series Sex/Life is back for a season 2, and we could not be more obsessed with the Billie / Brad / Cooper / Gigi / Majid love triangle thing that's unfolding before our eyes. But did you know the show's two leads Sarah Shahi and Adam Demos are actually dating IRL?
While it's not known exactly when the pair got together, Sarah and Adam, aka Brad and Billie, were on the set of the show from September 2020, and have looked loved up ever since.
As a recap, season one of Sex/Life focuses on Billie Connelly (Shahi) who, despite being married with children, begins to reminisce on her old life involving ex-boyfriend Brad (Demos), and quickly becomes involved in one of the greatest TV show love triangles we've seen.
In season two, the show takes a six month time jump, and while Billie and Cooper (Mike Vogel) have divorced, she actually isn't dating Brad - instead, his girlfriend Gigi (Wallis Day) is pregnant, while she starts dating restaurant owner Majid (Darius Homayoun).
So, if you were wondering how they got together, here's a look at Adam and Sarah aka Billie and Brad's relationship history so far.
September 2020: The pair get cosy on set
September is the first time we saw Sarah and Adam together, when he posted an Instagram photo of the two of them laughing and joking behind the scenes of Sex/Life. While it may not seem romantic on the surface, now we know the details of their secret love for each other, it's pretty damn adorable. He simply captioned it 'Billie and Brad' in reference to their character names. It's not known if they met while filming or were an item before.
NYE 2020: They go Instagram official
The pair spent New Year's Eve 2020 getting cosy - and while there was no official reference to their relationship status, it's pretty safe to assume this was their first official couple pic, much to the delight of fans. "Rooting for forever for the both of you" one wrote, while another added, "you two look awesome together!"
January 2021: There's PDA aplenty
In honour of Sarah's birthday, Adam dropped a series of photos of the pair taking a winter stroll, including one of them lovingly gazing into each other's eyes. "Happy bday my baby I f*#kin love you. You’re everything", he captioned it.
February 2021: Sarah calls Adam her 'forever squeeze' in adorable Valentine's Day post
Sarah returns the loved-up birthday favour, and posts an intimate Valentine's Day post with Adam referring to him as her 'forever squeeze' with a red heart and #happyvalentinesday. The same day, Adam also posted a selfie of them with a heart.
May 2021: The pair get loved up on Instagram as Sarah writes a gushing birthday letter
In arguably their cutest moment to date, Sarah writes Adam an adorable letter alongside a photo, showing off to the world how much she truly adores him.
"Not exactly sure how two people on opposite sides of the world could have more in common, were meant to meet, were meant to be together. But I do know I met my soulmate," she explained.
"I do know I found my forever. I do know I’ve never loved deeper, harder, more ferociously. I do know I’m overly grateful for him. I do know I’ve loved him for a thousand lifetimes before and will love him for a thousand lifetimes more. Happy birthday my baby."
Maybe it was the show that brought them together!
Adam gave a seriously sweet response, writing "My forever and more.. I love you so f***king much my baby."
June 2021: Sarah gets candid on their relationship during an interview (And we cannot cope with the cuteness)
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Sarah finally confirmed that the pair were an item and referred to him as 'one of the best humans I've ever met', but stated that she likes to keep the relationship relatively private.
“It was great casting, I’ll put it that way,” she joked. "Without sharing too many details because there is a part of my relationship that I protect and that’s for me and him only, I’m very grateful that I met him."
7 December 2021: Sarah and Adam make their red carpet debut
While Sarah and Adam have been pictured together multiple times since meeting on the set of Sex/Life, December marks the first time they've posed on the red carpet together as an actual couple.
Appearing at the 47th Annual People's Choice Awards together on 7 December in Santa Monica, California, the pair stopped for pictures looking *totally* loved up.
The couple can be seen posing with their arms around one another, with Sarah reaching over to hug Adam, laughing together and generally having an all-round good time.

14th February 2022: Sarah wishes Adam a happy Valentine's Day with a very cute selection of pics.
She adds in the caption, "Happy Valentine’s day to this stallion that makes my heart skip a beat today and every day. ❤️ Oh I love you @adam_demos."
April 2022: Wait, are they engaged?!
Sarah is photographed wearing a ring on her engagement finger and fans begin to spiral that Adam has popped the question. While the Daily Mail had everyone convinced, neither actor commented on the claims.
August 2022: Adam is also photographed wearing a ring on his wedding finger.
After pics were published here that showed the actor with a band on his left ring finger, fans were speculating that the pair had secretly tied the knot and were now married. Anyone got the receipts?!
October 2022: Adam takes to Instagram to celebrate Sarah's role in Black Adam
Hellooo, supportive partner alert. "Adriana may not have superpowers in @blackadammovie but she’s the real superhero of this film," he wrote. "The heart and soul! Just like the missus is in real life. I’m so fuckin proud of her in absolutely every way. Congratulations to everyone who made this epic film and congrats in advance on making a trillion dollars at the box office. Now as I said in the last slide, it’s fuckin party time! [sic]"
