Sydney Sweeney just rocked a classic slicked-back secondary school hairstyle
Whilst we are somewhat still bitter that Euphoria season 2 is well and truly over, to our collective delight, season 3 should be coming to our screens sometime in the near future. The sooner, the better, HBO.
Although we are still mourning the loss of our favourite characters (they're not dead, we just miss seeing them every week), we're still very much invested in their real-life counterparts. And one of our favourites, Sydney Sweeney (who plays Cassie Howard), has been more than filling in for that Euphoria shaped hole in our hearts. Hallelujah!
From starring on our very own Cosmo UK cover to taking on a brand new hair colour for her latest acting role in National Anthem, Syd is the gift that keeps on giving. Oh, and not only that, but most recently, she has taken on the job of being the new face of Miu Miu's Wander bag campaign.
Of course, with any campaign there usually follows an abundance of shoot pictures inundating our Instagram feeds, and this time was no exception. Both Miu Miu and Sydney shared a variety of different snaps, but one factor that stays the same in all is her hairstyle.
The award-winning actor is rocking the deep side-part slicked back hairstyle and it's giving us flashbacks to our secondary school days. Why, may you ask? Well, I don't know about you, but waking up as early as 6am to grab the bus meant that my hair needed to be, well, as easy as could be. So, down, natural and tucked neatly behind the ears – aka no fuss – was the go-to.
This look of Syndey's however, is a little more preened and perfected than ours was circa 2010, with a chic slicked-back twist on the basic style. It was also paired with a minimal no-makeup makeup look to make this effortless glam so perfect for the warmer summer 2022 months.
