You can’t convince me Kerry Washington’s 3D water droplet nails aren’t real

Whether you're mani-mad or not, Kerry Washington's latest red carpet manicure is a sight to be seen. Nails are often the details spotted last after a big awards show has blown up our feeds with breathtaking gowns, incredible hair and flawless makeup looks. We typically rely on the nail artists to serve up those close up shots for us. That's why we follow them all, so you don't have to – though I would 10/10 recommend doing so.

LA-based manicurist nailsbydiem, who also regularly attends to the claws of stars like Kim Kardashian and Kelly Rowland, just blessed us with photos of Kerry's Critics Choice Awards nails and I am mesmerised.

They've sculpted a 3D water droplet manicure on the actor and it's so beautiful and so realistic I just want to reach out and touch them.

Diem explained step by step how they brought this incredible idea to life, but I'm taking it with a pinch of salt because you can't convince me these aren't real magical water droplets.

Diem wrote; "I created Kerry’s nail look by using two coats of @candy.coat in shade Natural AU015 for the perfect pinky base to match the details in her dress. Next, use your favourite unicorn chrome."

*note to self, I should have a favourite unicorn chrome.

Continuing onto the bit we're all dying to know; "Lasty create the bubbles by using @candy.coat Build-a- Nail in Crystal Clear and top off everything with @candy.coat Super Shiny No Wipe Top Coat for that glossy look!"

I mean, not sure if this is a how-to or a challenge. Because Diem has to know there's no way we can pull off their sorcery.
