Tom Brady hails Gisele Bundchen in sweet anniversary post
Tom Brady hailed Gisele Bundchen as the "best mother and wife" in a heartfelt anniversary message.
The 44-year-old star has taken to Instagram to lavish praise on the blonde beauty, describing Gisele as his biggest "supporter".
Tom - who has Vivian, nine, and Benjamin, 12, with Gisele, as well as John, 14, with Bridget Moynahan - wrote on the photo-sharing platform: "13 years ago, we both said 'I do' …and you have been the best thing that ever happened to my life. I love you more now than I ever could have imagined. You are the best mother and wife and supporter in the world and I am blessed to call you my wife. (sic)"
Gisele, 41, has also taken to social media to celebrate their anniversary.
The world-famous model wrote on Instagram: "Happy anniversary love of my life! Te amo! [heart emoji] @tombrady. (sic)"
Earlier this month, Tom announced his retirement from the NFL, after 22 seasons in the league.
The Super Bowl-winning star - who played his final two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers - said in a statement: "I have always believed that the sport of football is an 'all-in' proposition - if a 100 percent competitive commitment isn't there, you won't succeed, and success is what I love so much about our game.
"There is a physical, mental, and emotional challenge every single day that has allowed me to maximise my highest potential. And I have tried my very best these past 22 years. There are no shortcuts to success on the field or in life.
"This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes: I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore. I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention."
