Tom Brady praises 'amazing wife' as he reveals family's NFL pre-season plans

Tom Brady has shared details of his pre-season plans before returning to the NFL, revealing that he has a lot of "family time" planned.

The football player, who retired from the game in early 2022 before shocking fans by sharing that he had decided to return to the field, also praised his wife Gisele Bundchen for "looking out" for their family.

"I have an amazing wife who's always looking out for our kids, always looking out for our family," the star said. Tom and Gisele have two children, 12-year-old Benjamin Rein and daughter Vivian, nine.

Together they also raise Tom's 14-year-old son Jack whom he welcomed with ex, Bridget Moynahan. "She's a good influence on me," Tom told People about Gisele.

"She's been a great influence on me for a long time. She's just a great woman."

The family will spend time with his parents over the upcoming Father's Day weekend before they take a trip to Europe and spend the six week break together before training camp, which Tom says is "nice for us because it's a big task, going into football season".

Tom and Gisele wed in 2009

They married in 2009 and he has long credited his 23-year career to Gisele's support.

Tom was drafted in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL draft and played back-up for two years. However he took over from the Patriots' quarterback, Drew Bledsoe in 2002 when Bledsoe was hit with an injury.

That year he led the Patriots to a Super Bowl win. Tom went on to win five more Super Bowls with the team, before leaving the Patriots in a shock announcement where he confirmed he would be joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a one-season contract.

He won his seventh Super Bowl ring with the team that same year.
