Mining the childhood trauma and Sabbath-worship of their singer and guitarist Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins were briefly one of the world's biggest bands in the mid-1990s. Billy Corgan: D'Arcy Wretzky has 'burned bridge forever' with The Smashing Pumpkins
Smashing Pumpkins bassist D'Arcy Wretzky has said a "bridge is now burned forever" between her and the band, according to frontman Billy Corgan. The Smashing Pumpkins singer opened up about Wretzky's relationship with the band in an interview with The New York Times. Siamese Dream: This is what the girls from Smashing Pumpkins album cover look like 25 years later
The Smashing Pumpkins have re-made the album cover for their second studio record Siamese Dream with the original models. In support of their comeback, the Smashing Pumpkins got the two models who were featured on the cover of their 1993 album - Ali Laenger and LySandra Roberts - back together for their tour announcement video. For lead singer Billy Corgan, it was a way for him to honour the duo and their influence in music history.

The Smashing Pumpkins to tour for first time in 18 years
The Smashing Pumpkins have announced that they will reunite for a tour for the first time since 2000. Original members Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin will reunite for the Shiny And Oh So Bright tour which coincides with the 30th anniversary of the band's inception. The band announced the news with a video featuring the original Siamese Dream cover stars Ali Laenger and LySandra Roberts.
