Jazz pianist Dave Brubeck dies

The jazz pianist and composer Dave Brubeck has died. He was 91 years-old. Brubeck, whose recordings included Take Five, played with the likes of Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald. The musician enjoyed huge success with his Dave Brubeck Quartet during the 1950’s and 60’s. Manager Russell Gloyd said the pianist died on Wednesday morning at a hospital in Connecticut. Brubeck would have been 92 on Thursday.
