Crystal Palace vs West Ham result: Wilfried Zaha secures deserved point after Mark Noble's opener
Wilfried Zaha rescued a point for Crystal Palace against West Ham after Mark Noble scored his first Premier League goal of the season and had worked so hard to get his side into the lead. James McArthur and Michy Batshuayi missed great chances for the Eagles to level the score after the West Ham captain gave the visitors the lead from the spot in the first half. West Ham may have been disappointed to go into the break just one goal ahead, largely through Noble’s experience in midfield to get t

Crystal Palace 1 West Ham 1: Wilfried Zaha seals comeback draw at Selhurst Park
Wilfried Zaha put his FA charge to one side and scored a late equaliser on his return from suspension to earn Crystal Palace a point against West Ham. Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha facing increased ban for continuing to applaud referee after red card
Wilfried Zaha is facing the threat of an increased ban following his red card at St Mary’s. The Crystal Palace forward was booked for an exchange with Southampton scorer James Ward-Prowse and, seconds later, was shown a second yellow for sarcastically applauding referee Andre Marriner’s decision. The dismissal would have earned Zaha a one-match ban but the FA, who were today still waiting for Marriner’s report, could increase the suspension as the player appeared to applaud the referee again a

Wilfried Zaha suspension will not hinder Crystal Palace despite awful record without him, says James McArthur
James McArthur believes Crystal Palace are prepared to cope with the absence of Wilfried Zaha against Fulham. Zaha will be suspended for Saturday's fixture having been sent off for accruing two yellow cards in Wednesday's 1-1 draw at Southampton. It took over two years, until last month, for Palace to win in his absence but though he scored again at St Mary's and was perhaps their most influential player, McArthur believes he can be replaced.

Crystal Palace man James McArthur enjoys the quiet life as long as he's making big noise on the pitch
Relatively little fuss is made about James McArthur — and that is just the way the Crystal Palace midfielder likes it. Much is made of how the Eagles struggle without flying winger Zaha, but last season they failed to win in the Premier League when McArthur did not play. Dig a little deeper and the statistics highlight that since he moved to Palace from Wigan for £7million in 2014, they have won only four League games without him in the team.
