The Phantom of the Open is the heart-warming true story of Maurice Flitcroft, who entered the 1976 British Open, despite never playing a round of golf before. The film arrives in cinemas November 5th and stars Oscar-winner Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies, Dunkirk), Sally Hawkins (Paddington, The Shape of Water) and Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill) and is directed by Craig Roberts. The Phantom of the Open will have its world premiere at the London Film Festival on 12 October.
