Shining Jools: Holland is a brilliant presenter, but a passionate musician first
- KT TUNSTALL was playing with her mate Kevin Cormack, aka Half Cousin, when she got the call in 2004. “We were on tour with the Manchester band The Earlies, about 20 of us on a tour bus having a great time,” she recalls 18 years later. When the summons came, she had to rush back to London, missing a couple of gigs.

OnBlackheath 2017: The Libertines, Travis and De La Soul announced as headliners
London festival OnBlackheath, which is returning for its fourth year, has announced The Libertines and Travis as 2017’s headline acts. The two day festival, which this year falls on September 9 and 10, will also feature Metronomy, Jake Bugg, KT Tunstall and US bluesman Seasick Steve. Hiphop icons De La Soul, who this year are celebrating 30 years together, promise to be a highlight of Saturday, too.
