Bradley Cooper to star in Steven Spielberg's new Bullitt movie

The Hangover actor has closed a deal to play the no-nonsense San Francisco cop Frank Bullitt made famous by Steve McQueen in the 1968 action thriller. Sources told Deadline that Spielberg's movie is an original story centred around the familiar character instead of a Bullitt remake. In addition to his starring role, Cooper will produce the feature with Spielberg. According to the publication, Cooper and Spielberg have been looking for a project to collaborate on for years.
