Notorious BIG and Wu-Tang Clan to be honoured with street names in New York
Hip hop greats Notorious BIG and the Wu-Tang Clan are among those being celebrated with street names in their honour. New York City Council voted unanimously to recognise the Brooklyn rapper and the Staten Island collective along with folk singer Woodie Guthrie , the Gothamist website has reported. The Big Poppa lyricist, who was killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles in 1997, will be memorialised with Christopher Wallace Way - after his real name - in his hometown.

Lost Woody Guthrie Hoodoo Voodoo recording discovered after 64 years
A lost recording of Woody Guthrie performing Hoodoo Voodoo has been discovered after more than 60 years. The previously unreleased 1954 tape has been shared online by US entertainment magazine Variety after being found in the Shel Silverstein Archive. It features US folk hero Guthrie, who died in 1967, performing alongside Sonny Terry and Ramblin' Jack Elliott, who were regular collaborators.
