We think Daniel Radcliffe confirmed the rumours that he’ll appear in ‘Now You See Me 2’ were true while talking to Yahoo Movies about his new film ‘Horns’.

The former Potter star was answering fan questions when we asked whether he’d be shooting political drama ‘Young Americans’ with ‘Kill Your Darlings’ director Krokidas as his next film.

"That’s probably not going to happen in the slot we wanted it to, but it’s by no means not happening,” he says of the film which will also star Dane DeHaan, “We’re all still very excited about it.”

"The next film I’m going to do? I actually can’t say, which is a totally boring non-answer."

Another subsequent fan question asked if the rumours about ‘Now You See Me 2’ were true, and his response was quite telling.

"Erm… I… Well that’s what I’m saying no more about really. So you can draw your own conclusions! Yeah, I can’t really talk about that any more because I believe other people have and I don’t want to say too much.”

We think he’s probably talking about Sir Michael Caine. The ‘Interstellar’ star let slip earlier this year that he would be appearing in ‘Now You See Me 2’ with Daniel Radcliffe playing his son, although this has still yet to be officially confirmed by the studio.

"There’s a sequel to ‘Now You See Me’ and we’re shooting in London," Caine told Hey U Guys, “I shoot in December, the whole of December in London, and my son is Harry Potter. I thought it’d be funny, me and Daniel Radcliffe as father and son.”

Lionsgate’s magic heist film ‘Now You See Me’ was a surprise hit with audiences in 2013 despite mixed reviews from critics, raking in £261m at the global box office from a modest £46m budget.

Jon M. Chu will direct the sequel taking over from Louis Leterrier, with Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman all reprising their roles for the film which is set for a June 2016 release.
