Fast & Furious 7 Superbowl Trailer Pulls Out The Big Guns

Just in case you were under the impression that ‘Fast & Furious 7’ was a gentle, period rom-com, the movie’s Superbowl trail has busted out what must surely be its biggest stunt.

In a set piece that can only really be referred to as ‘eye-popping’, Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto becomes arguably the first man to drive a car between two skyscrapers.

He even manages to disrupt a genteel art and antiquities exhibition while he’s at it. That’ll teach ‘em.

After a family BBQ gets a little overcooked, Dom and the team are pitted against Jason Statham, the brother of former adversary Owen Shaw, and he’s stuffed full of vengeance.

“The most important thing in life will always be family,” says Dom, in a poignant reference to Paul Walker, who died in a car wreck in 2013 while the movie was filming.

The fate of Walker’s character is not yet known, but all will be revealed.

'Fast & Furious 7', also starring Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez and Ludacris, and directed by James Wan, is out in the UK on April 3.
