Jason Statham WILL Return For Fast & Furious 8

Hollywood hard man Jason Statham has revealed he will be returning to the next ‘Fast and Furious’ movie in the franchise, regardless of how the seventh film played out.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, the Brit actor seemed particularly enthusiastic about the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise.

“We’re already talking about doing another one - part eight,” Statham shares, which is news to everyone that his character, Deckard Shaw, will be making a return.

*Fast and Furious 7 plot spoilers ahead*

As we saw in the smash hit ‘Fast and Furious 7′ earlier this year, and despite being crushed under the weight of a multi story parking structure, the film ends with Shaw captured and put into something way beyond any maximum security cell imaginable, especially one that’s under constant surveillance by none other than The Rock.

With the character back for more, it’ll be interesting to see just how he manages to escape under Hobbs’ watchful eye, but more importantly who it’ll be that breaks him out.

The Stath goes on to say, “I’m a newcomer, y’know, I just got invited to the party in this last one, so it’s nice to know I’m going to be doing another.”

Whether he was meant to let the cat out of the bag just yet is anyone’s guess, but it’s generated a lot of talk after the latest - and most lucrative instalment - made it past the $1.5 billion mark not so long ago.

He goes on to praise the writing partnership of Chris Morgan and Gary Scott Thomspon. “They’ve always got something good up their sleeves, and I don’t want to be the one who spoils everything.” 

“I could tell you what I’d like to see happen!”, quipped Statham. Clearly it’s way too early for plot details to get leaked, or is it?

“But there is some great stuff I already know about,” which is perhaps the biggest tease of the interview, but the actor kept his lips tightly sealed over exactly what info he does know… For now.
