Spy: Sweary Jason Statham Steals Show In Exclusive NSFW Clip

We’ve come to expect plenty of shocks and surprises from Melissa McCarthy, but in the actress’s forthcoming ‘Spy’, one of the biggest revelations is that some of the biggest laughs in the films come from a rather unlikely suspect: Furious 7 baddie (and all-around bad-ass) Jason Statham. And in this exclusive new red-band clip, which you watch above, it’s clear that Statham’s not pulling any punches in his big-screen comedy debut (warning: this clip contains offensive language).

In the film, McCarthy plays a CIA analyst who desperately wants to ditch her desk work for more dangerous, covert missions — and, against all odds, winds up getting her wish. Statham stars as one of her colleagues, a veteran CIA agent whose cover’s been blown, and who’s seen some dark days on the job: “I’ve jumped from a high-rise building using only a raincoat as a parachute,” he tells McCarthy, outlining some of the more outlandish injuries his incurred. “I’ve swallowed enough microchips and s—t them back out again to make a computer.”

We’ll see what kind of egregious injuries McCarthy’s character racks up when Spy swerves into cinemas 5 June.
