“There’s no other person I was thinking about when I was cutting this umbilical cord. I knew he was there and it felt like a way to keep his memory a part of my family, a part of my world.”

Pauline, Diesel’s third child with partner Paloma Jiminez, was born earlier this month. He also shared the first photo of Pauline on Facebook below.

The ‘Fast & Furious 7′ world premiere was cancelled at the last minute when Diesel opted to be present at the birth instead of attending the glitzy Abu Dhabi event, with a source telling The Hollywood Reporter, “He wants to be with his family at the birth; it’s a beautiful thing. What human being wouldn’t?”

Diesel and Walker starred together in 5 of the 7 ‘Fast and Furious’ films before Walker’s untimely time in a car accident in later 2013, midway through production on ‘Fast & Furious 7′.

Diesel paid an emotional tribute to his co-star at the film’s SXSW premiere calling ‘Fast & Furious 7′: “the hardest movie I ever had to do.”

“Because the relationships that you see on film are so real. When the tragedy happened, I lost my best friend. I lost my brother.”

‘Fast & Furious 7′ is coming to cinemas on 3 April. Watch a trailer below.
