Zoe Saldana Introduces Her “Lethal” Guardians of the Galaxy Character

"You’re a good-looking girl, you should try to be more nice to people."

That’s the advice Peter “Star Lord” Quill offers to his deadly ‘Guardians’ team-mate Gamora, played by Zoe Saldana, nearly unrecognisable beneath layers of green make-up.

Saldana is no stranger to playing badass sci-fi characters having appeared in both ‘Star Trek’ and ‘Avatar’, but her latest transformation for Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ might be her most impressive yet.

Her character is a green-skinned alien assassin that the actress describes as “relentless, lethal, and rough” in this newly-released character featurette above.

The video also features some new unseen footage from the summer blockbuster including a glimpse at the epic showdown between Gamora and Nebula, the blue-skinned menace played by ‘Doctor Who’ star Karen Gillan.
